Jan’s background is in nursing and management of residential care homes. Jan has
been involved in first aid training since 2010, before starting her own first aid training
business in the Waikato in 2016.
The Waikato team of instructors bring a wealth of experience from their previous roles in
the Royal Navy and NZ Police; lead instructors are certified with the NZ Resuscitation
Council and Pre-Hospital Emergency Care, as well as Adult Education and Training
Level 4. Our Outdoor instructor brings experience gained over many years and is also a
NZDA Hunts Course Instructor and NZDA Fire Arms Range Officer. The team including
Jan have a combined experience of over 30 years in first aid instruction.

Workplace First Aid
First Aid is essential for any industry or workplace and our Workplace First Aid courses have fun, hands-on scenarios to equip you with the skills and confidence to manage emergency situations anywhere; from the office to the factory, or at home.
Outdoor First Aid
Outdoor First Aid equips you to care of a patient for long periods before help arrives. It also means that access to specialised equipment may be unavailable and that improvisation is needed because of your remote location.
Public Courses
Looking for a public course to attend? Our courses will leave you more confident in administering First Aid. We have public First Aid courses in Auckland, Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Canterbury.
Advanced Emergency Care
This course is advanced training for people holding a current first aid certificate who wish to advance their knowledge and skills to a higher qualification for their work, e.g. outdoor instructors, surf lifesavers, ski patrollers and LandSAR members.
School First Aid
We cater for all teaching and support staff, as well as High school students needing First Aid training, to gain valuable NZQA credits for their studies. Course can be tailored to suit your school, so ask us how we can accommodate your needs.
