“I just wanted to drop you guys a line to say how grateful I was to have done a refresher course with you all at the beginning of the year. On Monday I had a rather large elderly man collapse in the street in front of me. All you told me kicked in and I was able to give the man the compressions he needed until the ambulance arrived. He survived and is now resting in hospital. It was an incredibly challenging situation complete with the hysterical bystander and the nosey onlookers but with another woman on the phone we managed to do what needed to be done. I have done many courses over the years but you guys really made me feel prepared and I am very grateful.”
