Outdoor First Aid - 2 Day

A two day, practical, hands-on, scenario-based and FUN course.

Equips participants with the skills and confidence to manage an emergency where medical help may be several hours away
Satisfies standard Health and Safety Workplace requirements as well as outdoor leader requirements
We have a team of highly qualified and skilled facilitators

NZQA Unit Standards

424 - Assess and manage an emergency care situation during an outdoor recreation activity (level 3, 5 credits)

6400 - Manage first aid in emergency situations (level 3, 2 credits)
6401 - Provide first aid (level 2, 1 credit)
6402 - Provide resuscitation level 2 (level 1, 1 credit)

We can register these credits on your NZQA Record of Learning, if you provide us with your NZQA number. 

If you do not yet have an NZQA Record of Learning, we arrange this for you.

Course Duration

To meet NZQA requirements our 2 day Outdoor First Aid course is a minimum of 16 hours long and day 2 must be held in an outdoor location.
