"On Saturday I was driving to Hamilton and was the first on the scene at a head-on crash in Meremere. I pulled over and was shaking like crazy. I sat in my car a moment, then did my DR ABC'S. Four people in a van were cut up from glass, and a couple in the other car were really freaked out. After calling 111 I treated them all for shock and one of them started to have an asthma attack! which I knew I could help her with. The fire service turned up about 10 minutes later and told me I had done everything perfectly! I told them I had completed my first aid course yesterday!! They were very impressed!. I just wanted to let you know how confident I felt and how grateful I am to you."
